My work with clients is designed to be individualized and unique to their needs and personal goals. I look forward to working with teens and adults using a theory of counseling that emphasizes the importance of connections in our lives. With this, I strive to guide my clients toward healing relational wounds in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.

I utilize an attachment-based lens to guide treatment with my clients. This emphasizes a person’s upbringing, relationships with caregivers, and how these aspects can inform the present and future. Unpacking the past in therapy can shed light on patterns in our relationships that keep us stuck and prevent us from reaching our fullest potential. Together, we can develop helpful techniques for you to use outside of sessions and bring about positive change in your life by interrupting these patterns. Attachment exploration in a therapeutic environment allows for establishing healthier and more fulfilling connections.

Rachael is our star intern therapist from Mount Mary University. She sees teens and adults coping with anxiety, sadness, and reactions to stressful events. She uses an attachment framework in her therapeutic interventions and is constantly being supported and supervised by an experienced clinician and the team. Her sessions are $30 for those without access to insurance or people seeking an affordable, yet quality care and effective mental health services.

My clinical supervisor is Cynthia Franzolin, LPC.
