About Me
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic, OCD, sleep difficulties, and other concerns that may be getting in the way of everyday life.
I believe psychiatric care should feel personal, collaborative, and understandable. You should feel comfortable asking questions, talking openly about what is or isn’t working, and being part of the decisions about your care.
My Approach
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to medication. I take time to understand what you’re experiencing, your health and treatment history, what you’ve tried before, and what you hope will be different.
If medication may be helpful, we’ll talk through the options together—including what a medication may help with, possible side effects, and what you can expect. As treatment continues, we’ll check in on how you’re feeling and make adjustments when needed.
My approach is supportive and straightforward. My goal is for you to understand your treatment rather than simply leave with a prescription.
What You Can Expect
Your first appointment gives us time to look at the bigger picture. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, previous treatments, and what you would like help with.
I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s going on and then talk with you about recommendations and possible next steps. There will be time for your questions, too.
By the end of the appointment, I want you to understand the plan, know why we’re recommending it, and feel comfortable with what comes next.
